"The creation of artwork is at the core of my being. Artwork is my religion. I consider myself a very spiritual person, but not bound to any one specific belief system. My current creations are a reflection of my fascination for ancient cultural motifs merged with an inherited love for all things botanical. I have traveled extensively across Asia, Central and South America. Each trip was an opportunity to gather thousands of photographs; from textures and plants to statuary and temples. It is with these images that I compose my artwork, carefully blending the layers of photography with hand illustration and digital painting techniques. The end result creates art that is distinctly modern, yet rooted in nature and ancient tradition.”
