A mash up of two best friends; A couple who hail from Chicago, Illinois, J.O.A. has been creating art as a unit since 2001. Their collaborative work producing short films and video, soon translated over to the art world via graphic design, fine art, branding and performance art. They love to experiment with fun shapes and colors, often passing ideas back and forth until each composition feels complete. Everything is free game when it comes to inspiration. With their combined efforts, various past clients have included brands such as Stüssy, Nike, Pepsi, HTC, Apple Inc., Brisk and Vans. DecalGirl is their newest endeavor and features hand-drawn renderings and concepts fused with computer designed vector graphics for a fun, eye-catching, Pop Art style.
